Why is there no commission?

Because a marketplace should be a venue, not a toll booth. You keep 100% of what you earn here. We make money when active hosts and providers choose tools that save them time — not by taxing every transaction.

Question 2

What happens when I hit my listing limit?

Nothing dramatic. Your live listings stay live. You just can't add a new one until a slot frees up (a listing expires or you close one) — or you upgrade. We never auto-delete your listings.

Can I cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes — from your account, in two clicks, effective at the end of the billing period. EU customers also have a 14-day right of withdrawal on a new subscription; if you ask us to start it immediately, that right ends once the service has been fully provided, and otherwise we refund the unused portion.

Are these prices final? Any hidden fees?

Prices include any applicable Irish VAT. There are no setup fees, no per-message fees, no commission. What you see is the whole price.

What does a boost actually do — and is it fair?

A boost places one listing in two labelled places: the "Boosted in <your city>" row on the home and pillar pages, and the Sponsored strip above Browse results (up to 3 listings, for the city and pillar you are browsing). Both are ordered by tier — Top, then Premium, then Featured — and by most time remaining within a tier. There is no rotation and no queue: if more boosts are running than there are slots, the lowest-ranked are not shown. Boosted listings never change the order of search or browse results themselves, and every one of them is marked Sponsored.

Will prices go up?

Launch prices are locked for at least 24 months. If they ever change after that, existing subscribers keep their current price. We'd rather grow by adding value than by repricing the people who trusted us first.

Question 7

Do free users get worse visibility or slower replies?

Accepted Answer

No. Free listings rank normally, messages send instantly, and nothing about the free plan is throttled to push you to pay. Paid plans add tools and speed for busy hosts and providers — they never degrade the free experience.

Question 8

I have a promo or event code — where do I enter it?

On the Redeem page at /redeem — there's also a ‘Redeem a code’ link in your profile under Settings. Sign in first, since codes are tied to an account, then type the code in; you may be asked to confirm you're not a bot. Depending on the code, it can give you Homjo Plus free for a set period, or a boost for one of your listings. One code per account, and codes can't be passed on to someone else.
